For B2B Mailers in New England

I’ve attended this event the last two years, and I’ll be there again later this month. Last year featured a session on how one local manufacturer completely changed their distribution channel, which was formerly through dealers to one where they controlled their own pricing and their own future on Amazon – it was an eye-opener for me.

I’m especially proud of the fact that one of this month’s speakers is my wife Shari. She and I met through the VT/NH Marketing Group 22 years ago, and we have a 17-year-old son heading to college next year to prove it! Over the years, we have both served as President of the Group, and served on numerous committees.

But this is the first time that she is going to present to the Group as a marketer. As with any married couple that works in the same industry, over the past 22 years, there has been many dinner conversations about marketing, catalogs, and social media. So, I’m delighted that she is finally going to be speaking on what she does for her company.

Shari works for a German-based manufacturer of commercial office shredders and supplies. They have a US sales office here in New Hampshire. Much of what she does for marketing the company is on a shoe-string budget. But she has worked to make the most of her limited resources to maximize her company’s exposure.  Bear in mind, these marketing efforts are for commercial shredders and professional paper trimmers which are not cheap. Sure, they are not as cool as Warby Parker glasses, but Shari is going to share her tips and secrets on how any B2B company can utilize the assets they already have to sell effectively.
